A list of tour codes is included on the registration form. Circle any event in which you are interested. Some tours may require minimum numbers to proceed.

Sunday 25 October

PT1

Aboriginal Cultural Tour - Kurrendi Kamanga - Walking Together (half-day tour)
Includes coach, guiding, entrance fees and morning tea. An introduction to Aboriginal culture accompanied by an Aboriginal guide right in the heart of Adelaide. The tour includes a visit to the Museum, Tandanya and a fascinating Bush Tucker walk in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

Introducing Adelaide - an orientation tour to the city's 'hidden' secrets (90 mins)
Includes morning tea. Come and discover, hear a little history and gather all important local knowledge to enhance you stay.

Local Studies 'Meet the Author' Tour
An Adelaide local history writer will talk on research methods and the tools available in the Mortlock Library of South Australia, and then lead a tour of the library.

Information Science visit to Ngapartji and dinner
The Information Science Section (SA) invites you to join them in a visit to the Ngapartji Multimedia Centre in Adelaide's East End followed by dinner at Amalfi's very close by in Frome Street.

School Libraries - visit three school libraries with a focus on the creative use of technology.

Technical Services - talk to the 'experts' and see the innovations in technical services.

PT14

Local Studies - History Collection Guided Bus Tour.
Half day tour

Guided bus tour of three of Adelaide's local history collections. Visit collections located at Salisbury, Elizabeth (where morning tea will be provided) and Tea Tree Gully libraries, and return to Adelaide in your own time via the O-Bahn bus route along the River Torrens Linear Park.

Tours of Artlab Australia
Conservation and restoration of fine arts and historical material.

If you have the opportunity, why not arrive early or linger a while longer and enjoy what South Australia has to offer? See the magnificent wine growing regions, the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Barossa Valley or Kangaroo Island. Springtime is an ideal time to head north to the famous Flinders Ranges for longer tours. Festivals being held during the Conference include the Barossa Valley Music Festival and the Rose Festival.
