Adelaide98 - Pathways to Knowledge is the 5th Biennial Conference of the Australian Library and Information Association, the association representing over 8000 members involved in the library and Information Services Industry. Over 1200 delegates from special, national, public and education libraries will attend the conference which will focus on libraries and the staff who work in them, looking outwards to their clients and the diversity of resources and services provided for them. The Conference will provide you with the main opportunity in 1998 to make an impact on the people who make the decisions in a broad spectrum of the industry, and at the same time to meet with those people who will be the future decision makers. The Conference will provide many and varied opportunities for sponsorship participation, as will the Fringe program proposed for the two days preceding the Conference. Sponsorship opportunities are not necessarily limited to the packages outlined. Joint sponsorship between companies is available. We would be pleased to discuss your own ideas and proposals. Join major sponsors such as University Microfilm Inc, EBSCO Australia, Ameritech Library Services and the University of South Australia in presenting a wide range of services and products to the library and information management community. As well, a sponsorship opportunity is available from the NSW Acquisitions Section for a ALIA member to attend the conference. The Conference Committee has appointed Hartley Management Group, the Conference Manager, to also oversee management of Sponsorship and Trade Exhibition All enquiries should be directed in the first instance to:
