KAY RASEROKA
Kay
Raseroka was born in Kwazulu - Natal in South Africa. She is a citizen of
Botswana, is married and has children. She has been in librarianship for
over two decades during which she made tremendous contributions to the profession.
She is currently the Director, University of Botswana Library Services and
the President of IFLA. Abstract
An exciting and challenging time for IFLA: opportunities for transformation
IFLA President, Kay Raseroka, will discuss how IFLA leads the library
and information sector in making its mark on the world stage. The global
becomes local, the local becomes global and the challenge of equitable
access to information is ubiquitous.
