Libraries on the Agenda - Experiences from IFLA and Library Associations' Advocacy

Library on the Agenda is the current presidential theme of IFLA-President Claudia Lux. IFLA has done advocacy work since some years on an international level e.g. at the World Summit on the Information Society. Many library associations have ideas and hints, how to advocate for libraries in their countries. Library on the Agenda will bring together the collective experience of librarians world-wide and exchange the ideas and discuss the regional differences.
