Working with what worksCriminology is turning to the evidence base in an effort to inform policy about “what works” in criminal justice interventions. A feature of this evolution is the Campbell Collaboration, a sister group to the Cochrane Collaboration, which aims to make systematic research reviews widely available. This poster examines the growth of evaluation and evidence-based research over time; raises awareness of the Campbell Collaboration; gives examples of the application of evidence-based policy from a practitioner’s view; and discusses how this shift in practice is affecting the work of the JV Barry Library at the Australian Institute of Criminology |
