Travel and AccommodationAirtrain ServiceThis train service stops at the international and domestic terminals. It operates four times an hour. Click here for a complete timetable. There are 5 city stops. The conference venue is located at the Roma St stop. The conference venue is located in the same complex as the train station and is only a 5 minute walk. The cost is $10 per adult one way or $18 return. Tickets can be purchased at the train stations – follow the signs in the airport. Discounted tickets are available for all conference delegates to obtain this discount please purchase your tickets at http://www.airtrain.com.au/ShowContent.aspx?ContentCode=Conference&Booking_Category=Conference Coachtrans Shuttle BusesCoachtrans Shuttle operates a regular bus services that runs between the domestic and international terminals to Brisbane City. The service runs directly to the Brisbane Transit Centre and accommodation houses in the Brisbane CBD. The cost is $11 one way or $18 return. Tickets can be purchased at the customer service counters located adjacent the baggage carousels at Qantas, Virgin and outside immigration at the International Airport. Further information can be found at the Coachtrans web site http://www.coachtrans.com.au/default.htm TaxiTaxi ranks are located along various points at the Domestic Terminal and on Arrivals at the International Terminal. The approximate cost to the Holiday Inn is $30. Car HireWithin the airports are agents for AVIS, Budget, Hertz, National and Thrifty. Car hire costs are highly variable, but range upward from $80 per day. It is approximately a 30 minute drive from the Brisbane airport to the Brisbane CBD (including the conference venue the Holiday Inn). Car parking is available at the conference venue for $7 per day. Local BusesIf you choose not to stay at the Holiday Inn you may like to use one of the many local buses to travel to the conference venue each day. Where to Stay in BrisbanePlease note accommodation is not part of the registration package. You will need to book accommodation at the same time as you make your conference registration.
