The Mini EBL conference

The 3rd International Evidence Based Librarianship Conference is to be held in Brisbane from 16-19 October 2005. While attendance at the Conference promises to be good, the cost of the event inevitably precludes most of the future professionals who are currently enrolled or just recently graduated from Library and Information Studies. A number of the EBL Conference speakers have accepted an invitation to stay on for a couple of days to present their paper to library students and recent graduates at the 3rd International EBL 2005 Mini Conference.

Proudly sponsored by the Faculty of Inforamtion Technology at the QUeensland University of Technology, the EBL mini conference is hosted by the QUT Information Professionals Alumni Group and the ALIA New Grads Group.

The even was held at QUT on Thursday 20 October from 9-3pm. The days program can be found here .
