'The place to be in 2003'

With the theme of Bridging services - embracing reality, our main objective was to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas relating to the Library and Information Industry, while bringing current issues and 'customer service' to the forefront.

In addition to a very comprehensive education program which included many workshops, there were outstanding keynote and invited speakers, library visits, and peer paper presentations. The conference also provided the opportunity for delegates to explore the latest resources and tools of our profession at the trade exhibition, not to mention enabling delegates to renew old acquaintances and meet new friends.

By being a part of the 12th ALIA National Library Technicians Conference, you were privy to the latest advances in the Library and Information Industry. In addition to this, you contributed to the official library technician's continuing professional education program; where 'customer service' has once again been brought to the forefront.

Please don't hesitate to contact Krys Henshaw at Organisers Australia if you need further information.
