How to Register for the Conference
The preferred method of registering is online via the conference website - link to be availble end of April.

If this method is not convenient, please complete the registration form in the Registration Brochure, to be available end of April. A separate form will be required for each delegate (a clear photocopy of the form is acceptable).

For delegates wishing to register onsite, refer to the registration desk hours below or on the General Information page of the Registration Brochure. Please note that delegates registering onsite may not receive a conference satchel.

Registration Acknowledgement
Confirmation of your registration will be sent via email within 48 hours of receiving your registration form. If you do not receive confirmation please call the Conference Organisers on 08 8125 2200.

Payment
Payment must be made in Australian dollars and is required prior to the Conference beginning. The following methods of payment are acceptable:
Cheque - please make payable to "Australian Library and Information Association Lib Tech Conference".
Credit card* - All major credit cards are accepted (American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and VISA). Credit card payments will appear as 'All Occasions Management' on your credit card statement.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - If you wish to pay by EFT, please indicate this on your registration form where specified. In order for us to allocate your payment correctly in our system, please include your registration ID number or Surname in the payment reference.

*Accounts paid by credit card will incur a processing fee of 2.5% for VISA and MasterCard, 3.5% for AMEX and 4.5% for Diners card.

Alterations
Alterations to your registrations will not be accepted over the telephone. Alterations must be made in writing to the Conference Organiser, All Occasions Management, as follows:

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Organiser (see contact details above). Cancellations received prior 30 days will receive a refund of registration fees less an administration charge of $110.00. Cancellations received within 30 and 7 days of the conference will receive a refund of 50% only. Cancellations within 7 days of the conference will not be refundable.

Temperature

For the month of September 2009, Adelaide’s mean maximum temperature is 18.9°C; the mean minimum is 9.7°C.

Local Transport

The Adelaide Airport is situated seven kilometres from the central business district and major hotels. An Airport City minibus runs between the airport and major hotels every half hour from 7.00am – 10.00pm (hourly on weekends) at a cost of approximately $10.00. A taxi from the airport to the city is approximately $15.00.

Car Parking

Car parking is available at the Adelaide Convention Centre, in both the Exhibition Car Park and the Riverbank Car Park. All day early bird parking is approximately $8.00. Other public car parks are situated on North Terrace.
