Carol Cooper is an educator, facilitator of change, author of “How to Sell to Women” and master facilitator for the “Creating Customers for Life program”. She believes the keys to happiness and success are all about personal responsibility, ownership and accountability.
Carol has been mixing personal development with leadership, sales and service skills training since 1990. She found people generally love to learn about themselves and how they can improve their life. She found many people responded positively when they discovered they're personally responsible for creating their future, this knowledge really opened them up to learning the required sales, service and leadership skills necessary for their roles.
Most library technicians do not see themselves as leaders, yet in their every day roles they are leading both internal and external customers by providing excellent service and meeting their customers expectations. Carol shows library technicians how they are leaders in their roles within the library. Her presentation will have them identify the qualities they admire in great leaders and also how they like to be treated by leaders. This exercise will help library technicians identify with their role as a leader and the qualities they need to embrace to fully realise their leadership success.
