Call for Papers

Thank you to all the authors who submitted an abstract for the ALIA National Library & Information Technicians Conference.
Author notifications have been sent out via email, and accepted authors are now requested to submit their full paper.

Back to Basics aspires to provide a program that will stimulate discussion, challenge ideas and encourage new thinking. The three Program Streams that reflect and support our theme will allow us to re-examine who we are and what we do, and explore the future of our industry.

Conference Theme - Back to Basics

The three program streams for submissions are:

Personal Development (the individual)
Professional Development (the profession)
Client Services (the client)

Important points to note

Potential presenters should note all costs to attend the Conference must be met from their own resources.
At least one author of the accepted Abstract is expected to attend and present their paper at the Conference.
All Abstracts accepted may be published in the Conference Abstract Booklet.

Authors Notified:		23 February 2011
Speaker Registration Deadline:		2 August 2011
