ALIA Member Rates Explained
Individual and Organisational Members of ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association) enjoy heavily discounted registration rates to attend ALIA Conferences and ALIA Training Professional Development Opportunities.
For the ALIA National Library and Information Technicians Conference 2011, the following conditions apply:
Member Rates are available to 2011-2012 ALIA Financial Members, and through reciprocal membership benefit arrangements to 2011-2012 Financial Members of LIANZA, ASA, ASLA and AGLIN.
Individual ALIA Members are eligible for ONE registration at the ALIA Member Rate.
Institutional ALIA Members in Categories C1 to C3 are eligible to send TWO staff members at the ALIA Member Rate.
Institutional ALIA Members in Categories C4 and above are eligible to send FIVE staff members at the ALIA Member Rate.
Members of ALIA Partner Organisations are eligible for a 10% discount on Non-Member rates. This discount can only be applied to delegates who register online and select the 'Invoice' option - sorry, not available for credit card payments.
Not yet an ALIA member? Joining ALIA as a member for 2011-2012 entitles you to register for the 2011 ALIA National Library & Information Technician's Conference at ALIA member rates. Joining is easy - click here for details.

The deadline for all registrations is Friday 2 September 2011.
Registrations and payments made after this date will incur a $AUD50.00 late registration fee.

CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS
Registration and/or accommodation cancellations and amendments cannot be accepted over the telephone. Alterations and cancellations must be sent in writing to the Conference Organiser, International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd:

Registration cancellations received up to 12 August 2011 will receive a full refund, less $150.00 administration fee. Registration cancellations received between 13 August 2011 and 2 September 2011 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received after 2 September 2011.
As an alternative to cancellation, registrations may be transferred to another representative. Transfers will be accepted until 2 September 2011. After 2 September 2011, all amendments including transfers will incur a $20.00 additional fee.
Accommodation cancellations less than 30 days prior, will be charged by the hotel according to their cancellation conditions.
International Conferences & Events Pty Ltd reserves the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that International Conferences & Events Pty Ltd deems to be inappropriate and / or a risk to others.
Registrations received by International Conferences & Events Pty Ltd will not be considered as confirmed unless payment has been received and processed by International Conferences & Events Pty Ltd.
DISCLAIMER
The speakers, topics and times are correct at the time of printing. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee reserves the right to delete or alter items in the Conference Program.
LIABILITY/INSURANCE
In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, ALIA and ICE (Aust) Pty Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates. Nor can ALIA and ICE (Aust) Pty Ltd take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
