WA State LibraryLibrary Tours

The ALIA National Library & Information Technicians Conference offers its delegates an exciting range of tours through some of Perth's world-leading libraries.

The Library Tours offer delegates the opportunity to visit some of Perth’s finest libraries, network with colleagues and sightsee parts of our beautiful state. The guided tours will allow delegates to take a look ‘behind the scenes,’ view special collections and observe new library technologies and initiatives.

All tours will depart from and return to the lobby of the Pan Pacific Perth (formerly the Sheraton Perth Hotel). A range of transport options will be used and two guides will lead each tour. Meals will be at the expense of delegates unless otherwise stated.

When registering, please select your first three tour preferences. The majority of the tours are complimentary; however fees apply to offset transportation costs for tours requiring coach hire. Places are limited so register early to avoid disappointment. Your booking will be confirmed prior to the Conference.

We suggest you bring comfortable shoes, a camera, a jacket or coat and some bottled water. For tours travelling via public transport, we recommend Delegates bring adequate change to purchase tickets.
