<title>Keynote Speaker Announcement</title>
<description>Greetings all, We, the committee of the 4th ALIA New Librarian's Symposium, realise that we'd promised to open our registrations on Monday 2nd of June. However, these plans have gone slightly awry, as best laid plans often do, and we are currently competing with the Australian Public Service to see how many hours we can work in a row around the clock. However, to distract you from the deadline that just flew past our heads, I'm very excited to announce the first of our keynote speakers for NLS4: Read more on our news page...

<title>New Librarians Symposium 4 Program Update (Sharon Uthmann)</title>
<description>
Just an update on how the NLS4 committee is progressing with regard to the program. Due to the overwhelming number of abstract submissions we received, we are running a little behind on notifying authors of the outcome. We hope to have all authors notified next week as we pull together the final program.
And for those who plan on attending, stay tuned as registration opens next month and more of the exciting program will be revealed.

<title>NLS4 competition - guess the patron - Clue 2</title>
<description>"So, we haven't really received any entries yet, which is not that surprising, given the unhelpful nature of the first clue. Initially, for this competition, responses one expects are not nearly enough. Maybe I should suggest innovative new graduates hunt alternative measures. Anyway, here is the second clue. Clue #2: Neither of our two patrons are male. Think you know who they are yet? Send those entries in!".
