To finish the PD Day and discuss the Sessions with other delegates, why not consider an evening beverage...
With so many information-savvy people coming to town for the 4th ALIA New Librarians' Symposium in December, the ALIA New Graduates Group Committee in Victoria, along with the ALIA New Generation Advisory Committee (NGAC) thought it would be remiss of them not to get in on the action somehow. Together with the Symposium Organising Committee, we are having a drink and a bite to eat the night before the conference starts. We'd love to see as many delegates and the Victorian library community as we can, to get the Symposium started with a bang! It's one of the first great things to do to break down barriers too. When: Thursday, 4th December from 6:30pm onwards. Where: The Elephant and Wheelbarrow, 94-96 Bourke Street, Melbourne. Cost: At own expense RSVP: (essential) to Email your RSVP to Daniel by 27th November 2008. For more information about the venue see the website: Elephant and Wheelbarrows Website Hope to see you there. Gemma Siemensma |
