What is the National Library & Information Technicians Conference 2007 about?
The Conference fosters the interests and aspirations of library and information technicians and educators and provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas that will impact on the future direction of the industry. What are the dates for the Conference - when is bump in and bump out?
The Conference runs from 9-12 October; the opening of the Exhibition is on the evening of the 9th, so Bump-in will be during the day of the 9th; more specific times will be provided as soon as we have them and Bump-out will be after closing drinks on the afternoon of the 12th October.

What is the committee doing to encourage delegates to come to the trade exhibition?
Team 2007 is committed to drawing delegates into the exhibition and has located as many activities as possible in and around the Exhibition area. The Welcome function will concur with the Opening of the exhibition and all scheduled breaks will be held within the exhibition. In addition, the Internet Lounge is located inside the Exhibition area at the rear of the venue. We are keen to forward plan as much as possible to ensure that you are able to incorporate the Exhibition into your marketing strategy for 2007.
What is the committee doing to encourage delegates to come to the Conference?
Team 2007 has appointed liaisons in each Australian state through which promotional material will be distributed and our first announcement postcard is being distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand and SE Asian countries. We will also have representation at industry conferences throughout 2006 and 2007 in order to market and promote our conference. If you intend to exhibit in any of these regions, we would be happy to provide postcards for distribution.
What opportunity is there for flexibility and choice of Booths?
We are happy to work with you to find something that will meet your and our needs, although some sponsorship opportunities have already been taken.
Prime booths will be assigned to our major sponsors, but we will endeavour to meet your preferences wherever practicable. Booths will be allocated to confirmed sponsors first, and then in order of receipt of application (Please note full payment must be made within seven days from the date of invoice. If full payment is not received within one month, the Organisers reserve the right to reallocate your booth).

Can I make a promotional presentation at the Conference?
Vendor presentations may be made by the Gold Sponsor, Conference Dinner Sponsor and the Welcome Reception Sponsor. (Please refer to the Invitation to Sponsor and Exhibit for further information).
What is happening with insurance?
All exhibitors must have Public Liability Insurance for the period of the Conference and Exhibition, and must provide this documentation to the Conference Secretariat upon application or final payment. It is strongly advised that each exhibitor cover their equipment, exhibits and display material with adequate insurance or consult with their own insurance company for extension to existing policy for the duration of the conference.
