Invitation to Attend
On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am delighted to invite you to participate in ALIA’s 5th New Librarians' Symposium, taking place at the Pan Pacific Perth (Formerly the Sheraton Perth Hotel) from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 September 2011.
An exciting line-up of leading professionals from libraries and related fields will discuss challenges and opportunities facing new graduates as they develop from individual professionals into future industry leaders. Delegates have the opportunity to develop their skills in workshops, take library site tours and attend keynote plenary sessions with a view to taking away not just ideas, but experiences that they can call on in their professional lives.
NLS5 will take place back-to-back with the ALIA National Library and Information Technicians’ Conference which offers a unique chance to network not only with delegates and leaders from their own event, but to share ideas and experiences with one of the most active groups in the profession.
We look forward to welcoming all new professionals and future industry leaders to NLS5 to Perth in 2011.
