Brief description of content: based on the evidence gained from a 14 month research project about an innovative Clinical Evidence Researcher service, the seminar focuses on the practical skills associated with the role of CML in finding answers to clinical questions, as well as some of the issues relating to the implementation of such a service in other settings.

Brief description of content: Participants will learn how to demonstrate familiarity with hand-held computers (personal digital assistants, or PDAs) and identify a range of uses for PDAs in clinical and library settings; and will take away a list of sources of further information about PDAs. Participants will work with both Palm and PC operating systems. Yes - you get to work with them!
Note: This is a hands-on workshop, places are limited to sixteen.
